Kojo Joel Apologizes After Receiving Cristiano Ronaldo’s Shirt In Esteghlal’s Loss To Al Nassr
Ghanaian born Kyrgyz, Kojo Joel made headlines after receiving Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt following Al Nassr’s 3-0 win over Esteghlal FC in the AFC Champions League Elite hence causing him to apologize to fans of Esteghlal.
Kojo Joel took on social media to share photo’s of himself wearing the gifted shirt from Ronaldo with the aim of meeting his idol but didn’t go well with the fans.
The match, which took place on March 10, 2025, saw Ronaldo score a penalty in the 27th minute, with J. Durán adding two more goals in the 9th and 84th minutes.
